This is a statue of Mary, mother of Jesus. This was taken in the garden of the Ventura Mission. I thought it was a beautiful statue, because of the expression on her face, and how welcoming she looked.
I wonder how old the statue is. I noticed that her thumbs are missing. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
